3 G’milut Chasadim: taking responsibility This is an introduction to g’milut chasadim and what acts of loving kindness mean in regards to Judaism
4 G’milut chasidim 1 Making peace amongst your friends
5-6 Finding God in Our World through Acts of G’milut Chasadim. Connecting Jewish texts to world issues as the foundation for the rest of our studies this year about G’milut Chasadim (acts of loving kindness).
7 Shema, “doing and listening” Using the text, the students will talk about their reaction to the Jewish value of behaving a certain way, whether or not we feel like it
HS How the Torah Apply to My Life Today? The students will critically ask questions, read Torah, and research modern day current events to better understand “Are biblical texts relevant to our world today? Why or why not?”
