Students will have classwork at teacher discretion from 9:15-12:15 in their teacher’s classroom except:

Grades 3-4 Library in the 4th grade classroom
Grades 5-7 Music in the 5th&6th grade classroom

Grades K-7 Break, meet in Nora’s classroom for songs and Yom Huledet, when dismissed students can stay or go to any classroom

K-2 Library from 11:15-11:45, Music from 11:45-12:15 all in the K-2 classroom

All students need these things

  1. Paper
  2. Pencils
  3. Markers or crayons
  4. Textbooks
  5. A quiet place to learn
  6. Supplies and worksheets specific to their class listed below

  • Review letters and Vowels  learned throughout the entire semester ((Bet, Taf, Shin, Patach, Kamatz, Mem, Lamed, Kaf, Hay, Reish, Caf, Vet,  Daled, Aleph, Vav, Tzadee, Koof and the Hirik Vowel, Ayin, Nun, Chet, Yud, the Holam Vowel, Tet, the Segol Vowel, Pay, Samech, Fay, Tesereth Vowel, Sin, Gimmel)
  • 1-2 only: Look at the textbook: Pages 1-83 or looking at the new vowel: Pgs 84-86
  • Practice writing letters with Playdough, Cherrios, raisins or just paper and pencil.
  • Questions to ask your Kindergartener: What sound does the letter Pey make? What are you thankful for?
  • Questions to ask your 1st-2nd grader: What does the shuruk kubuts vowel look like? What sound does the shuruk kubuts vowel make? What is a Jewish Hero? What does a Jewish hero do? How can I be a Jewish hero?
