Library Today – Leadership in the Torah

Come join Mrs. Rachel as she shares books from the Fisher Library with us. PreK-2 @ 4:30. Grades 3-7 @ 5:00

Sometimes it’s uncanny how certain themes coalesce. In the Torah, we just happen to be reading about our first Matriarch and Patriarch, Sarah and Abraham. Much of what makes them so important to us is their role as leaders. But the question is, what makes Good Leadership and how do Abraham and Sarah exemplify it…or not?

Parent Coffee Hour

Please BYO coffee and join Joint Religious School Committee (JRSC) members Marlene Denenfeld and Gillian Thommes on November 8 at 10:30am for a chance to listen and be listened to.

We would like to hear how this year’s Jewish school as well as life in general is going for our parents during this unusual time we are living in and give you a chance to connect and support one another.

Bring your coffee and join us in the OKCJS Zoom Classroom (the same link your child uses to Zoom on Sunday mornings. When you arrive, ask to be moved to the Parent Breakout Room. See you on the 8th.
