Field Trip for All Students 10/6/2019

Blow the Shofar and Cast off your Sins with Us!

All families, congregants and friends are invited to join the OKCJS students and teachers to celebrate Tashlich at Wood’s Lake on Sunday, October 6.  Bring your shofars as we will all cast eco-friendly pebbles (representing our sins) into the water  and blow the shofar out over the lake.  We will have extra shofars for the children.

The students will leave CoM by with adult chaperones in personal vehicles at 11:20. Tashlich will start  about 11:30.  Please plan to meet us at Woods’ Lake and if you are able, volunteer to be a chaperone.

School will dismiss from Wood’s Lake after Tashlich.

Permission Slips Need to be Signed by Sunday September 9.

Permission slips will be available on a table in the lobby this Wednesday and Sunday during school. Please sign giving your student(s) permission to participate in this event and travel with adult chaperones in private vehicles.

If your child will be absent on 9/25 and 9/29, please print this permission form and mail to: OKCJS Director, 2501 Stadium Dr. Kalamazoo, MI 49008. So that we can arrange safe travel for all students, the permission slip deadline is 9/29.
